This Privacy Policy describes the information practices of 2xoffer, operating the 2xOffer coupon directory at www.2xoffer.com. It covers our website and enquiries, not the independent retailers linked from it.
1. Operator and privacy contact
Business name: 2xoffer. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email [email protected] or use our Contact form and choose “Privacy request”. The website operator is responsible for the information it collects; advertising and other providers also have responsibilities for their own processing.
2. Information we collect and its sources
- Technical and usage information: IP address, approximate location, browser/device details, requested pages, referral information, timestamps and security/error records from your browser and our hosting/security services.
- Country preference: a country code you choose, or an approximate country supplied through Cloudflare. We do not request GPS or precise device location.
- Enquiries: optional name, reply email, topic and message you submit to our private site inbox, and information you send directly by email.
- Advertising information: where ads load, Google and participating advertising providers may process cookie or similar identifiers, IP address, device/browser information, page visits, ad impressions, clicks and consent/opt-out signals.
Browsing offers does not require a shopper account. We do not collect your retailer payment-card details or order credentials. Do not send passwords, OTPs, full card numbers, identity documents or personal voucher strings in an enquiry.
3. Purposes and grounds for processing
- Delivering the directory, selecting a country, troubleshooting and preventing abuse: operational needs and, where applicable, our legitimate interests in a secure, useful service.
- Responding to enquiries and correcting listings: your request and our legitimate interests in providing support; meeting a binding legal obligation where one applies.
- Aggregate offer-reveal statistics: understanding use of listings and ordering offers. A reveal is not proof of a purchase or successful redemption.
- Advertising, measurement and optional tracking: consent where required, or another permitted ground for a particular non-consent purpose. Ad personalisation is subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
Submitting a message is voluntary, but we need sufficient information to respond. Consent can be withdrawn without making earlier lawful processing unlawful. Your use of the website or acceptance of our Terms does not by itself give consent to optional advertising cookies.
4. Google Ad Manager and advertising partners
We use Google Ad Manager to support advertising on this website. Google and other participating ad providers use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, select ads using previous activity on this or other websites. Data may be processed when an ad tag loads even if an ad is not visibly displayed. Ad revenue helps fund the directory.
Read how Google uses information from partner sites, Google’s Privacy Policy and Google advertising cookie information. Google’s participating ad technology partner information explains providers involved in its advertising ecosystem. The specific providers depend on the ad configuration and transaction; review provider information in the consent/privacy dialog when available or contact us for the relevant details.
Where required, advertising personalisation and optional storage must follow a valid consent choice. Declining personalisation does not necessarily mean no ads: contextual or limited advertising may be possible under applicable rules. Non-personalised advertising can still involve information processing and is not automatically cookie-free.
5. Cookies, preferences and your advertising choices
The first-party txo_country_preference cookie stores your selected two-letter country code for up to 180 days. “Auto-detect my country” clears that saved choice. WordPress administrative logins and security services may use operational cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
Visit Privacy choices / Do Not Sell or Share to request the advertising provider’s available consent or US opt-out dialog, review external ad controls, or contact us. The page tells you if a dialog cannot be opened; clicking a button is not itself a saved consent choice. You can also use Google My Ad Center, industry advertising choices, and browser cookie controls. These controls have different scopes; clearing cookies or changing browsers/devices can require you to repeat a choice. Browser controls do not replace a consent dialog where one is required.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is an opt-out signal supported by some browsers. Google documents that it receives GPC for applicable US-state ad requests. Other providers and integrations may behave differently; contact us if a privacy signal is not being reflected. We do not represent an unavailable consent dialog as a completed opt-out.
6. Disclosures, external links and sale/sharing
Information may be available to authorised site administrators and providers supporting hosting, security, email and advertising, as needed for those purposes. Cloudflare supports delivery and security; see its Privacy Policy. Email enquiries are processed through our email service provider. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud, protect rights, or manage a business transfer with appropriate notice and safeguards.
We do not sell your contact-form message or email address as a mailing list. Advertising disclosures for cross-context targeting may nevertheless be treated as “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising under some laws. Applicable opt-out rights are addressed on our Privacy choices page.
Merchant and affiliate links may pass referral and technical information to the destination. Purchases, retailer memberships, newsletter signups and reward programmes follow the merchant’s terms and privacy policy. We do not control independent websites or promise their privacy practices are the same as ours.
7. International processing and security
Our website and service providers may process information in countries outside your own, which can have different privacy laws. Where a relevant transfer restriction applies, an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards are needed, such as applicable contractual protections or another recognised basis. Google and Cloudflare describe their international processing in their own notices; contact us about a specific transfer concern. This notice does not claim that every country has identical protection or that an unverified transfer certification applies.
We use HTTPS and limit the site enquiry inbox to administrators. Contact-form abuse controls use a keyed hash of the requesting network address in a rate-limit record lasting one hour; ordinary security logs may separately contain IP addresses. Copying a coupon writes the displayed code to your clipboard at your request; it does not require reading your existing clipboard. No security measure eliminates every risk.
8. Retention
We retain enquiries while needed to answer and follow up on the request, handle a dispute, prevent abuse or meet a legal recordkeeping requirement. Relevant criteria include whether the matter is resolved, a continuing need to retain correspondence and any applicable legal period. Administrators can remove records no longer needed. Technical logs and backups have separate operational lifecycles and may persist after a live record is deleted. Advertising-cookie and provider retention depend on the provider and purpose; consult the linked provider notices. We can explain the applicable retention criteria for a particular enquiry on request.
9. Rights in Europe, the UK and Switzerland
Where the relevant data-protection law applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy; object to processing, including marketing; and withdraw consent. These rights can have conditions and exceptions. You may complain to your competent supervisory authority without first complaining to us. European information is available from the European Commission; UK enquiries can go to the ICO, and Swiss enquiries to the FDPIC.
10. US state privacy rights
Depending on the state law’s applicability, residents may have rights to know/access categories and specific information, correct or delete information, obtain a copy, and opt out of sale/sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling. We do not use the coupon directory to make decisions determining eligibility for credit, employment, housing or similar significant outcomes. An authorised agent can contact us with appropriate authority; we may verify identity or authority in a proportionate way. Exercising applicable rights should not result in unlawful discrimination. If we deny a request, you can ask us to review or appeal it and contact the relevant state authority as available under law.
For California information, see the California Attorney General’s CCPA guidance. Our information categories, sources, purposes, recipient categories and retention criteria are described above. Request an opt-out using Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information or email us.
11. Other countries and making a request
Visitors in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Brazil and other regions may have access, correction, consent-withdrawal, complaint or other rights where their applicable law provides them. Our privacy contact accepts requests regardless of the country directory selected. Tell us the request and the information or interaction involved; we may ask only for verification reasonably needed to protect the information. We respond within the time required by the applicable law and explain a necessary extension or refusal where required. Do not send identity documents through the ordinary form without an agreed secure process.
12. Children and updates
This is a general shopping directory, not a service directed at children. We do not knowingly invite children to submit personal information or use the enquiry form to collect sensitive information. A parent or guardian can ask us to review or delete a child’s submission. We do not knowingly authorise sale/sharing of children’s information where prohibited without the required consent. We update this notice when relevant practices change and show its revision date above.
